The hot days of summer are upon us and mosquitoes are everywhere. The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District and Illinois State Health officials are recommending that people protect themselves from getting bitten by mosquitoes. Several human West Niles Virus cases have been confirmed in the state this summer. Here's Ava with more of this story.
